Open Shop
A Weekly Food Ministry of Smithville CPC Storehouse

Every week, we invite those in the community suffering from food insecurity to shop in our pantry. With the generosity of Food Lion, Walmart, Dollar General, Second Harvest, and the USDA, we are able to stock our pantry with varities of meats, dairy, produce, breads, sweets, and more!

Before Your Visit
What you need to know

The pantry opens for shoppers at 10:30a.m. to begin their shopping. Doors open to the Fellowship Hall at 8:15a.m. for recipients to wait comfortably over coffee and fellowship. Bring two of your own reusable shopping bags (or if you do not have any, we can provide you with some of ours!) Lastly, be looking for our number distributor, to give you your place in line!

Mobile Food Drive
In partnership with Second Harvest and the USDA

At least twice a year, our church works in partnership with Second Harvest to provide a mobile food drive to the community! The food is available to any family in need, and recipients simply drive through the alley, located in front of the church, while church members and others in the community load the boxes. If you or a loved one are interested in receiving a food box or volunteering, please check out our church calendar for the next scheduled Distribution Day.
